In this group activity, we will introduce the activity by discussing the variety of ways to communicate, verbal and nonverbal. Use this activity to expand vocabulary, to support verbal or written skills, and to have a great time!

Description

  • Introduce the activity by discussing the variety of ways to communicate, verbal and nonverbal. Have the members come up with the answers themselves at first. After a brief group brainstorm, pass out the activity handout. At this point, the facilitator can use the sheet to verify the answers provided by the members. The group will then read the phrases beneath each icon. For further understanding of the communication types, use the YouTube visuals provided.
